Thierry Geerts – Country Director Google Belgium
After a brief stint in the audit (PWC), where he learned to play with figures, Thierry became director of an industrial laundry.
In 1996, he took a leap in the publishing world and joined Corelio, where he launched Clickx, the first internet magazine in Belgium. He also established the free weekly Passe-Partout, which grew to become a national player, with 100 editions and 4 million weekly readers.
In 2008, he became director of business development and audiovisual media of Corelio. He was in charge of its digital transformation, and helped to start Nostalgie in Flanders.
Since 2011, he leads Google Belgium.
Thierry is commercial engineer (Solvay-VUB 1989) and a father of four children.
